10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
ephesians 6:10-18
Father I come before you on behalf of my brothers and sisters and i'm asking for protection from the evil one. strengthen our hearts LORD, as we gird ourselves with your truth, so that we may discern what is true--what is from you and what is a lie from the enemy. God i'm praying for my friends who are struggling with discouragement or are in a season of doubting your goodness. God i'm asking for extra measures of grace for you to protect their heart, soul, mind, and spirit from all lies the enemy attempts to throw at them. we pray against the wicked schemes of the enemy, who loves to steal and lie and take away any areas of breakthrough we are having in you. in the name of Jesus i cancel any agenda the enemy has to lie to us and make us doubt your love and your goodness.
give us the grace, Father, to run into the secret place--to cultivate a lifestyle of intimacy with you so that we may withstand the lies of the enemy. help us to ground ourselves in knowledge of our identity--as your sons and daughters, priests and priestesses, that we may trample on the lies of the enemy.

Oh Jesus, protect us. Let the blood of Your love cover us as a shield against the enemy. Lord he hates You! He hates us! So let us not believe his lies. They are only for destruction, to cause chaos and disorder in our minds. He has no good intention, not ounce of love.
ReplyDeleteBut You, God of goodness, You love us SO much. You see past our rotten-to-the-core souls and You love us. You yearn for us. You hurt for us. You bled for us. You DIED for us.
Let the knowledge of this kind of love seep into our hearts and minds and souls, and then overflow into the way we live.
Jesus, we are SO weak. I am so weak, Abba. We can do nothing without you. I cannot function without Your strength. So renew us every day, pour out Your gracious strength into our spirits so that we may conquer the enemy's attacks. The enemy has no power over us because You have power in us. Holy Spirit, fill us with more of You daily. Light our lives so that the world will KNOW that You reside in us, let them see that there is something different about us... something that they've been looking for all their lives. Jesus, be the everlasting treasure in our hearts. Use us to let the world know that You are Lord of the heavens and the earth!
