Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith.
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you. Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
2 thess 3:1-5
God we come before you today and we ask that your word would run swiftly at UCSD. God i'm asking that the preaching and sharing of your word would run swiftly and touch hearts with fresh revelation. God would your work change lives, would your word turn lives upside down. let your word bring about change in our lifestyles and our mindsets, oh LORD. let your word pierce hearts. let your word break the old self and establish new identities in the name of Jesus let your word run swiftly with power and authority.
LORD, let your word shine, and be the truth to which we cling on to. God, we hold on to your word as the only truth on this earth. nothing compares to the truth of your word, God--not what this world tells us, how we think, or how we feel. let your word be a light unto this dark world. God, let your word run swiftly, that we may proclaim your word with confidence and authority over the kingdom of darkness. let your word run swiftly, in the name of Jesus.
